Switzerland is famous for its chocolate and its railroads. Chocolate make for an unforgettable experience as you travel on the Swiss Chocolate Train. Your trip begins in Montreaux on the Swiss Riviera. In Gruyčres, the train pauses for an excursion by bus to a cheese factory and the local castle. Then comes some free time to explore and have a delightful, local lunch on your own before proceeding to Broc. In Broc you’ll visit the Cailler-Nestle chocolate factory, where you can watch a multilingual video, observe chocolate production, sample the finished product, and buy Cailler or Nestlé candy bars at factory prices. The train then returns to Montreux, a pleasant resort town on Lac Léman where you can also visit the Castle of Chillon. The Chocolate Train leaves Montreux at 9:35 a.m. and returns at 5:52 p.m.
